Maths

This week I found maths ok but I thought long division was really hard but I really want to have a go at it maths overall is doing well.

Reading

This week I have read in the book challenge a total of 5 books reading is the best.

Writing

This week I have been really looking forward to presenting my speech and I am ready to go!

Maths

This week we we went down to the mat in our special group I found the work quite easy I really enjoy maths.

Reading

I am reading lots of books for the 50 book challenge I really think I could get past 50.

Maths

This week in maths we have been focusing on statistics I found the figure it out ok. When we went down to the mat with Mrs Bryant I found the work we did challenging at first but I got the hang of it in the end.

Reading

This week I have got 2 books finished for the book challenge and I am almost halfway through a book called:Don’t Call Me Ishmael.

Writing

This week I did more research for my speech I found this easy.

Maths:

This week in maths we did many different things I had a maths test with Mr Gemmell which I found really easy and I did risk in class which was really fun.

Reading:

The book I am reading is called The Voyage of the Dawn Treader-C.S.Lewis.

Writing:

Unfortunately we didn’t do writing this week.

                       Hiking Adventure
In week 7 we went on a mountain Hiking trip.We went on a 3 hour hike on Mount Pirongia. We had to walk through streams and climb up muddy cliffs, we also found wild blackberry's when we stopped for lunch it was so fun.

This term in room 8 we have been focusing on rhythm beat and pitch.We did heaps of different things,we watched cool videos and got to play on some different instruments. 

Rm:9
In room 9 we looked at the treaty of witangi. we went for two walks around the neighborhood when we went to the redoubt we filmed videos with our group.

In room 10 we made up our own games my group made up an obstacle course.We played them with the year 1&2 children it was super fun.

Reflection

Maths:

This week in maths we did rotations I found these really easy.Mrs Bryant  gave us some work which I had to ask for help with I still found it difficult.

Reading: In reading this week the work we did was really quite easy but also really fun I enjoy reading it is my favourite subject we also did balk talk I love booktalk.

Writing:

In writing we have been focusing on metaphors.I really enjoyed writing my own pice too.I got 36 words right on my new list.

Other:

This week we had learning conferences mine was on wednesday I think it went really well and I really enjoyed myself.
